I wish you the very best of luck with the Norfolk Dog Day and hope that you manage to raise lots of money in support of the valuable work of Help for Heroes. My dog Inca not only brought me together with my wife (we met walking our dogs in the park) but also bring me an immense amount of pleasure. Dogs really are man’s best friend!

Unfortunately I can't be at Sennowe Park on 8th August but I, and our chocolate labs, Dylis and Myrtle, would like to wish you the best of luck in raising £75,000 for Help for Heroes.  I am very pleased that the dog community in Norfolk will have the chance to show their support to our wounded service heroes and have lots of fun at the same time. I hope the counties dog lovers get behind the event and make it a day to remember.'

As a former soldier myself (and not a very good one) I have the greatest admiration for the courage and professionalism shown by the soldiers of today engaged in the most sustained and intensive combat since the Korean War.  They are truly the best of British.  Supporting Help for Heroes is a practical way of showing our solidarity with them.

I am delighted to be judging the ‘Old Age Pooches’ class at the Norfolk Dog Day for a second year, if it is half as much fun as last year we will have a great day!  I get lots of mail from servicemen out in Afghanistan and I feel so humbled by the huge risks they take on behalf of their country.  Help for Heroes is incredible, not only does it strive to provide direct support for those who are injured, it’s also a strong acknowledgement of the bravery of our troops and of the public’s huge support for them and their families – I’m very proud to be involved in this event.

Funds are desperately needed to assist our service personel  who have been wounded in the service of their country. It is fantastic that Norfolk is helping these extraordinarily brave young men and women by raising money for Help for Heroes.  As a Patron of the charity and a Norfolk l resident I give my wholehearted support to the Norfolk Dog Day and look forward to being there to help judge a class on 8th August.

It is with great pleasure that I will judge, alongside my good friend Sir William Goodenough, the Pins and Paws class at this year’s Norfolk Dog Day. I’m sure we will both be as thorough and fair as possible in our judging . I have attended a number of Help for Heroes events and each time it has been extremely humbling to meet our brave servicemen who have been injured.  They need and deserve our full support.  I look forward to an enjoyable day and hopefully together we can raise substantial funds for Help for Heroes.

I am delighted to come and judge a dog class this year and am pleased to support this fun event and help raise money for valuable work of Help for Heroes.  Living and working in Norfolk I am very aware of the recent sacrifices made in Afghanistan by East Anglian regiments Light Dragoons and Royal Anglians, it is fantastic that the organisers are building on the success of last year and raising more money for this important charity.

I always love visiting Norfolk and am looking forward tremendously to this Dog Day. I intend to bring my immense Dog Knowledge to bear on such classes as Best Taker Of The Titbit, Dog The Judge Would Most Like To Take Home or Dog With The Waggiest Tail.

I love dogs and as a child, nagged my parents for one for ten years. Finally worn down, dad brought home a knobbly brown bitch abandoned as a stray. She delighted him by having twelve puppies a week later. Mum and I had the mother of all stand-up rows as I did not see why we couldn’t keep thirteen dogs in our council house. These days we have two dogs, a rehomed Munsterlander and a fat, crabby Jack Russell. We wouldn’t be without either of them.

I think Help For Heroes has brought our country together in an astonishing and most moving way. It is so hard to see these young men brought home injured, particularly when we have sons of our own and I will do anything, short of jumping through a series of hoops (the knees you know) to help on the day.

On the occasions I have reported from Afghanistan, I have been humbled by our troops' extraordinary bravery and fortitude.

Both Susie and I are hugely honoured to be a part of the second Norfolk Dog Day. Together with our golden retriever Tiggy, we can’t wait to be a part what is bound to be one of the county's highlights this year.

During my rehabilitation and since I have retired from the Armed Forces, General Sir Richard and Lady Dannatt have provided tremendous personal support and friendship. Their kindness and sincerity has had a positive effect on my family and I; for this I will always be sincerely grateful. It is my absolute pleasure to support them personally at the Norfolk Dog Day.

It is an honour to be a Patron of Help for Heroes and to support our injured servicemen and women. The charity gave me a lifeline to think positively and was a catalyst to drive myself forward and fundraise throughout 2009. Watching HRH Prince William of Wales open the Headley Court Swimming Pool Complex recently was an unforgettable experience and is a mark of the outstanding public support received so far. I look forward to attending the Norfolk Dog Day and hope this level of public support will continue to provide our wounded with further rehabilitative support.

This is one of my favourite Help for Heroes days. I had such a good time last year and I am delighted to be invited back. Its great to see so many different types of dogs all in one place - all raising money for Help for Heroes - it will make it easier to choose what breed I would like when I do finally settle down! I look forward to seeing you in August.

I am so glad to be coming back to Norfolk Dog Day and supporting Help for Heroes, a charity which means so much to all servicemen and women. Last years show was a fantastic day and I'm sure that this years event will be even better. My mum fell in love with the little Norfolk Terriers and all owners should watch out! I can't wait to see all the great Norfolk people and their dogs again.

Having been in Afghanistan last summer I missed the event last year but the support of Norfolk was tangible in the depths of the Helmand Green Zone even during those darker days of last summer. H4H and all of the other service charities provide invaluable support to servicemen, service women and their families who suffer the physical and psychological consequences of operations. As we, The Light Dragoons, look forward and prepare for a return to Afghanistan in 2012 knowledge that the public continues to support us is very important to us. I therefore look forward to attending the Norfolk Dog Day this year.

Black Labrador, Treo and I are very pleased to support Norfolk Dog Day in their efforts to raise money for Help for Heroes. Having trained Treo to detect improvised explosive devises and road side bombs, I was honoured that his success doing this in Afghanistan lead to Treo being awarded the 'Dickin Medal', the highest accolade a military animal can achieve, at a recent awards ceremony arranged by PDSA. We are both looking forward to Norfolk Dog Day and will be there on the day to help organisers sniff out the Top Dog of the day!'

My Stafford Bull Terrier, Storm, and I are much looking forward to coming to Norfolk Dog Day. General Sir Richard and Lady Dannatt were a huge support to me and my mother in hospital following my injury in 2006 and the charity Help for Heroes have given me opportunities to try different sports, such as skiing, which I had not done before. I am looking forward to help judge a dog class on 8th August.

As the proud owner of a beautiful black Labrador, Twiggo, I am very pleased to be supporting the Norfolk Dog Day on 8th August. Dogs are such an important part of so many people's lives, both in and out of the army, and to see so many different dogs of all shapes and sizes helping to raise lots of money for Help for Heroes in August will be fantastic. Help for Heroes is a brilliant organisation and it is wonderful that the Norfolk have got right behind their drive to raise important funds for injured soldiers. I am looking forward to judging with Pam Ayres on the day.

After losing both my legs in Afghanistan in 2007 I was lucky enough to be one of the first soldiers that Help for Heroes had the opportunity to help. After receiving considerable support in Selly Oak, Help for Heroes' Battle Back initiative funded my trip to San diego where I was able to train at a US Military Paralympic Sports Camp. I have now set a new British record of 11.2m for seated shot-put and am aiming for gold in London Paralympics 2012! I am much looking forward to supporting Norfolk Dog Day in their huge effort to raise funds for Help for Heroes in August.

A message from the founders of the charity Help for Heroes:

Bryn & Emma Parry Bryn & Emma Parry
We were thrilled that last year the people of Norfolk together with their dogs were inspired to 'do their bit' and raised an incredible £85,000 for Help for Heroes. Money raised at this year's event will go towards the £20 million appeal to fund Individual Recovery Plans (IRPs). These funds will be directed to support wounded Servicemen and women as they progress along the road to recovery, and will fund courses and opportunities that will equip them for their futures.  We wish you the best of luck with the event this year.
